A 13-vehicle pileup caused major headaches in Missouri yesterday. According to authorities, a traffic accident caused a chain reaction on U.S. 50 in Jefferson City involving 13 vehicles and tangled traffic for two hours. Jefferson City Police say one wreck in the westbound lanes of U.S. 50 occurred around at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday evening near the mall that led to five more crashes. Authorities say the westbound lanes were down to one lane while crews cleaned the massive debris. Police say no one was hurt, but there was major vehicular damage. The multiple-vehicle accident is still under investigation. Details have not been released to what caused the pileup.
