One Killed in Ohio Semi Crash

A fatal crash on Interstate 71 has killed one person in Greene County, Ohio. The crash happened when one semi truck rear-ended another on Ohio 71 early Wednesday morning. One of the semi drivers was killed when a 40,000-pound steel cable slide into the cab of their truck.

Sadly the driver killed instantly. Although the driver is unidentified, they were a male in his 30’s from Kentucky. A dog that was riding in the passenger’s seat of the truck was injured as well and is being treated as well. The driver, which was rear-ended, was not hurt. All lanes of the I-71 were closed for hours while the crash scene was cleared and have since been opened.
