Tragically another crash between a semi and a vehicle took the life of a driver following a fatal accident near Stanton, Missouri. Likewise, the accident happened Wednesday morning when a Jeep and a semi collided near Highway JJ. As the driver of the Jeep was headed west, he lost control of his vehicle, and hit the cable barriers in the median.
As a result, the Jeep headed towards the eastbound lane, and was fatally tragically struck by the semi. Following the accident, the semi flipped on its side, and the driver and passenger suffered minor injuries. Sadly, the 53-year-old Jeep driver, Douglas Fielder of O'Fallon, Missouri was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact reason of the accident is still under investigation to determine the exact reason.
