Monday afternoon a woman was killed while walking on Crosby Lynchburg Road. Furthermore, the pedestrian accident occurred when the woman was walking north on the southbound side of the road. The vehicle that struck her crossed over the road and hit her.
Sadly, she was killed instantly. The woman’s name and identity have not been released yet until her next of kin have been identified. The driver of the vehicle that struck the woman was not injured in the pedestrian accident. Police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
