Three people from California were involved in an auto accident on Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened on Interstate 44 in West St. Louis County at approximately 2:20 p.m. The vehicle involved was a 1995 Dodge Ram that was heading west when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver overcorrected and veered off the right side of the roadway. The van overturned resulting in the death of 25-year-old Tenny Arlen of San Jose. The two additional occupants were related to Arlen and identified as 27-year-old Meghan Arlen and 27-year-old Jesse Arlen, who were transported by ambulance to the hospital. The Missouri Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.

Individuals involved in single-vehicle auto accidents may have grounds to file an auto accident claim, despite the assumptions made by many people. If you have been injured as a passenger in a single-vehicle accident, it may be possible to file a claim against the driver of the vehicle if their negligence caused the crash. Dangerous roadways, mechanical defects, and design flaws can also contribute to a car crash warranting a claim against the manufacturer or other parties.
