Charges Loom in Dog Bite Accident

|

Last Saturday in Greenwood, Missouri, a pit bull dog mauled a toddler. Furthermore, the dog bite accident happened when the child was visiting someone at the 1100 block of Elm Street when the animal attacked him or her. When police arrived on the scene they were told that the dog attacked a child outside. After an investigation it was found that the dog attack was inside, and the owner was trying to keep the police from finding the dog.

The dog was eventually found, and was euthanized after it was tested for rabies because this was not the first time the dog has attacked someone. Potential charges against the dog’s owners may include: assault, concealing evidence, and obstruction of justice.
