Aggressive Driver Arrested After Fleeing Twice
Posted By Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC
Many people are not concerned with the well-being of other individuals,
and that negligence can lead to an
accident. Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC firmly believe that when these people
harm an innocent person they need to be held accountable. A prime example
of a driver that does not care about the health and well-being of others
occurred last week.
Clement Kobischka, 33, of Pekin, Il was arrested after fleeing from the
police on two different occurrences within a three-day period in Tazewell
County last week. Some of his words to the officer were “People
should know to get out of the way if they see me coming. I don’t
care about anything.” This was in response to the officer asking
how he would have felt had someone been injured by his actions.
The list of his offenses is not limited to this past week. The officers
had called off chases but kept law enforcement in the surrounding counties
informed. It was when an officer saw Kobischka drive through a stop sign
that he chased him through Pekin and into Peoria County. At some point,
Kobischka hit a median made of concrete, and his tire blew out which allowed
the officer to apprehend him. Bond has been set, and he awaits his next
court hearing on Oct. 6.
