St. Louis Construction Worker Trapped Under Collapsed Chimney
Posted By Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC
Today emergency crews work quickly to rescue a worker who is trapped in a
construction accident in Ladue. Authorities say a Missouri man is trapped after a chimney collapsed
during extraction around 8:30 a.m. this morning in the 400 block of South
Price Road. On the scene, emergency personnel says the man is alive and
is injured. The St. Louis County's heavy equipment rescue team and
other emergency crews are working quickly to extract the man from the
wreckage. It is still unknown exactly what happened to cause the construction
accident but witnesses say during an extraction of the chimney, it fell
on the excavator with such force that it smashed the machinery and trapped
the worker in the cab.
