Recall Issued for Bicycle Shock Absorber

|

A voluntary product recall has been issued by FOX Factory Holding Corporation for a potential product failure that is related to their FLOAT X2 bicycle shock absorbers. Allegedly, consumers should no longer use this product, and it should no longer be distributed. FOX states that the air sleeves of the shock absorbers may explode as a result of the increase in the internal air pressure during compression.

Around 27,000 people pass away every year as a result of defective products. Additionally, even more, people suffer injuries. The product liability law protects consumers from defective products. It requires companies to design and manufacture safe products. However, sometimes companies still produce unsafe products and these products injure consumers. When this happens, it is best that the victim hires an attorney. In order to win your case against the liable company it must be proven that the product either: did not have the correct safety warning labels, had a design defect, had a manufacturing defect or was dangerous in nature.
