Police Are Searching For Suspect Involved In Fatal St. Louis Crash

A man is dead after a fatal auto accident on November 10th in North County. According to St. Louis Police, a suspect allegedly caused the accident and fled the scene. The suspect was driving a full-size SUV and struck a 1999 Toyota Corolla on West Florissant near Robin Road. The westbound Corolla was pushed into the eastbound lanes of West Florissant and collided with a GMC Sonoma pickup truck. The 87-year-old driver of the Corolla was killed in the crash. The 40-year-old driver of the 1999 GMC Sonoma pickup truck was not injured. Witnesses told police that the vehicle that first struck the Corolla fled the scene and authorities are asking the public for help in finding the vehicle used in a fatal accident. Police are looking for a light tan Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon with a unique sticker on the rear window of the vehicle.
