Young Girl Injured at Missouri Governor's Mansion

|

A young girl was seriously injured after her arm was impaled by the fence surrounding the Missouri Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City earlier this week. The girl was visiting the mansion on a school sponsored trip. Authorities report the girl climbed the fence while waiting outside and her arm got stuck on the fencing. Emergency responders were called to the scene where they had to cut the fence to rescue her. The girl was rushed to the hospital with a piece of the fence still stuck in her arm. Authorities report her status to be non-life threatening.
