As St. Patrick’s Day comes to an end, law enforcement is in full gear attempting to prevent a drunk driving accident. Unfortunately, two sisters in California were sent to the hospital after suffering serious injuries in a drunk driving crash. The crash occurred when a man was operating his pickup truck under the influence of alcohol and collided with a minivan containing a mom and her two young daughters. The collision happened near the intersection of Broadway and Palomar Street in Chula Vista. Both girls, an 11-year-old and a 6-year-old, were hospitalized. Their mother nor the other driver sustained any injuries in the accident. The drunk driver was arrested at the scene.
