Motorcycle Crash Caused By Flying Debris

|

A biker in Minnesota narrowly escaped a catastrophic motorcycle crash when dangerous debris came detached from another vehicle on the highway. The 20-year-old motorcyclist swerved to miss an object that came loose from a boat being towed. The motorcyclist was headed home on his bike when a floating foam pad detached from a boat being towed just ahead. The large foam pad struck the motorcyclist and caused the man to crash. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and jacket that he had bought that very day and saved the man from serious injury. The whole incident was recorded by a dashboard camera from another vehicle who stopped to help. The motorcyclist sustained only minor injuries and property damage. The crash could have been much worse, and the man was lucky to have been able to walk away from the incident. No charges have been filed yet, and it is unclear if the driver of the towed boat pulled over.
