A Kentucky man is dead after a fatal
machinery accident on Friday. According to Grayson County police, a 64-year-old man was struck
by a Caterpillar bulldozer near the intersection of Pleasant Run Road
and Green Farms Road. An emergency call was made to authorities around
6:45 Friday night. The Grayson County police and the Falls of Rough Fire
and Rescue responded to the emergency. They found the man dead at the
scene of the accident, and it was confirmed by the Deputy Grayson County Coroner.
Police believe the man was attempting to unload the bulldozer from a trailer
when it fatally struck him. When the Grayson County Deputies examined
the trailer, it was in the unloading position, and the bulldozer was several
feet away. The preliminary investigation points to the bulldozer accidentally
rolling off the trailer. A more extensive investigation will be conducted.
