Sadly one couple’s lives have been cut short in the blink of an eye following a fatal car crash that happened Sunday afternoon. Furthermore, 34-year-old, Delonte Antwuan Tobe, and 31-year-old, Shalaya Moore-Tobe was both killed when their vehicle was hit by another car.
The fatal car crash happened when the pair was on their way to a grocery store to buy supplies for a Labor Day barbecue when another vehicle crossed the centerline on Kirby Road to pass other cars. As a result, the vehicle struck the Tobe’s car. Both Shalaya and Antwuan died a short time later at the hospital. Tragically, both parents leave behind three young children. The driver of the vehicle that crossed the centerline that hit the Tobe’s car suffered only minor injuries. Thus far, no charges have been filed against that driver.
