|

An auto accident on Wednesday evening caused authorities to close lanes of Interstate 55. The accident happened at approximately 6:45 p.m. close to the St. Louis City-County line. According to authorities, the accident included three vehicles near the exit for Weber Road. A driver operating an SUV lost control of the vehicle, collided with a median, and overturned several times. Authorities also did not release any information regarding if injuries were sustained.

Injuries sustained in auto accidents can alter an individual’s life and create a financial stress from medical expenses. Those expenses and life changes can be devastating, especially when the accident could have been prevented. Dangerous roadways, negligent driving, and vehicle design flaws can all contribute to a car accident. A vehicle design flaw may be responsible for an accident involving an SUV rollover. SUVs have a higher center of gravity making them prone to rollover accidents. A design flaw could be responsible for an SUV to overturn easily. If you have been injured in an SUV rollover accident, it is important to receive a full investigation by an experienced St. Louis auto accident attorney.
