Tyson Recalls Chicken Wings

|

A recall has been issued by Tyson Foods, Inc. for 52,000 pounds of chicken wings. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safe and Inspection Service stated that the chicken wing product has a strange odor that effects Tyson’s Buffalo style chicken wings called Tyson Any'tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings. The wings were produced October 24th and 25th and distributed by several grocery and retail stores. The 28-ounce bags are labeled with product code 2975PBF0508-23/2985PBF0500-01 and have a “Best By Date” of October 24 or 25 of 2016. Individuals who have purchased the wings are encouraged to discard or return them to the place of purchase.

In 2015, manufacturers of food products and vehicles have issued record-setting recalls due to defective and dangerous products. Product liability laws protect consumers from a product that would be considered harmful or defective. Unfortunately, recalls are commonly issued after a consumer sustains an injury, illness, property damage, or death. Thousands of individuals are injured each year by toys, electronics, food items, pet products, and vehicles. Individuals who have been harmed by dangerous or defective products have the right to hold negligent manufacturers responsible by filing a product liability case. To determine if you have grounds for a case, it is important to consult an experienced St. Louis product liability attorney.
