Reggie Bush to Sue St. Louis for Slip and Fall

Reggie Bush to Sue St. Louis for Slip and Fall
|

Reggie Bush, a running back for the San Francisco 49ers, sustained a season-ending injury in a slip and fall that occurred in St. Louis. The accident happened on November 1st when the 49ers were in town to play the St. Louis Rams. Bush slipped and fell on the concrete that surrounds the field in the Edward Jones Dome. The slip and fall resulted in Bush tearing his ACL in his right knee. The injury will require Bush to sit out the rest of the football season. Bush has now contacted an attorney and plans to file a lawsuit against the city of St. Louis and the St. Louis Regional Sports Authority who own and operate the Edward Jones Dome. A week prior to the incident, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, Josh McCown, also slipped on the concrete and injured his shoulder against a wall.

Slip and fall accidents, drownings, dog bites, and food poisoning are all examples of incidents that may be grounds for a premises liability case. Property owners and those responsible for managing the facilities are required to maintain the property to prevent an injury, illness, or death from occurring. Individuals that sustain damages due to the negligence of a property owner should consult an experienced St. Louis premises liability attorney.
