Woman Falls to Death at UIC Campus

The campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago was the scene of a fatal accident that occurred on early Friday morning. A 20-year-old female fell off of a stairwell that is attached to one of the campuses buildings that is open to the public. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead at approximately 5:38 a.m. A spokeswoman for the University stated that the woman is not affiliated with the college. Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident.
