Two men are dead following a NY semi crash

|

Following a fatal crash with a semi that killed two people, a warrant has been issued to test the blood-alcohol level of the driver that caused the accident. In addition, the accident happened when four men were on their way home from a late night at a local strip club. Furthermore, after the night of drinking, the driver of the vehicle headed the wrong way down the West Shore Expressway in Staten Island.

As a result, the vehicle struck a semi head-on. Two men in the vehicle died at the scene, and two others were severely injured. The 27-year-old driver, Pedro Abad, and 23-year-old, Patrik Kulac were severely injured, and are officers with the Linden police department. Likewise, fellow officer, 28-year-old, Frank Viggiano, and his 28-year-old friend, Joe Rodriguez were killed in the crash. The driver of the semi was uninjured. Just hours before the crash, one of the men posted a photo on Instagram showing shots of alcohol in front of them. An investigation is pending.
