Seven Cars Crash in St. Petersburg and One Dies

In St. Petersburg, Florida on Monday afternoon, a seven-car pile up killed one man. Furthermore, 51-year-old, Terry Crawford from Alabama died after he caused a chain reaction crash on 34th Street. The car accident happened when Crawford was driving at a high rate of speed, and hit six other vehicles that were stopped at a red light on 38th Avenue. According to police, Crawford did not slow down in time for the stopped cars, and as a result skidded 140 feet before he crashed into the first vehicle.

After Crawford struck the first vehicle, his car then spun, and crashed into another automobile. Next, Crawford’s vehicle rolled onto it the side of another car, and he partially ejected from his automobile. Crawford died from his injuries at the crash scene. No other deaths were reported in this fatal car accident, yet several other drivers and passengers were injured with non-life threatening injuries.
