Semi and Jeep Collide in Colorado

|

In Longmont, Colorado on Monday, a stolen Jeep and semi truck collided. Furthermore, the accident happened on Highway 66 and Highway 287. After the accident, the semi was flipped on its side, and its load of powdered cement spilled all over the roadway.

Likewise, the scattered powdered cement clean up tied up the intersection until crews could clean the road. The 57-year-old driver of the semi was injured in the crash and transported to a nearby hospital. They suffered fractures as well as internal injuries. The 32-year-old driver of the stolen Jeep also suffered fractures and is also expected to survive. It is not known where the Jeep was stolen from, or what the events were leading up the crash.
