Honda Recalls More Vehicles

|

Honda is recalling another million vehicles, and the shares of the company have once again dropped. Furthermore, Honda Motor Company’s shares have dropped 0.61% to $32.72 on Tuesday after they announced another recall, which included 1 million other vehicles. Likewise, the following models are included in the safety recall:

• Hybrid and natural gas Honda Civic

• Plug-in Honda Accord

Honda has recalled its vehicles due to the faulty Takata airbags. The airbags can burn quickly due to ammonium nitrate propellant in the inflators, which can in turn send shrapnel throughout the vehicles. So far there have been seven deaths and more than 100 injuries due to the faulty airbags. According to Honda, over 915,000 affected vehicles have been covered either due to the recalls or the company’s voluntary safety improvements.

If you or a loved one were injured due to a Takata airbag, or any other faulty product, the experienced St. Louis personal injury attorneys at Meyerkord & Kurth can help. Please contact us today for a free consultation.
