Four Injured in Chicago When Car Runs Red Light

|

Sadly four people were injured when an SUV blew through a red light and hit another vehicle, causing a car crash Wednesday in Chicago, Illinois. The driver of the SUV was speeding down Devon Avenue when the light at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue turned red. The SUV then struck another vehicle headed north. The 24-year-old woman driving the vehicle that was struck was hurt, but none of her injuries are considered life-threatening.

The 20-year-old man that was driving the SUV is presumed to have been racing another vehicle just before the car crash. It took almost all night for the intersection to be re-opened, and the crash to be cleared. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
