Fatal Crash on I-75 in Chattanooga, TN Kills Six

|

Car crashes are never something that is welcomed, but it’s even more horrific when there are numerous fatalities. In addition, a Chattanooga, Tennessee car crash involved eight vehicles Thursday night and killed six. It is presumed that the car crash happened when a semi truck that was headed north on I-75 near Ooltewah was unable to stop, thus striking the eight cars.

Some of the people involved in the semi truck crash are from out of state, and police are still working to reach family members. All in all six people were killed, and six others were transported to a nearby hospital. The remainders of the people involved in the car crash were not injured and required no medical treatment. Currently, the NTSB is investigating the cause of the deadly semi-truck crash.

Sadly, Chattanooga Chief of Police, Fred Fletcher called the mutli-vehicle crash, “the worst he had ever seen.” Witnesses also recall the horrific car accident as something comparable to what you would see in a movie. Likewise, cars were spinning out in front of one another, and then there was a fire after all the car crashes.
