Three Still Missing in Kentucky Boating Accident

|

It’s been three days and relatives of the three missing people in a July 4thboating accident are still hopeful they will be found alive. Furthermore, the fatal boating accident happened in Louisville, Kentucky when a pontoon boat capsized on the Ohio River.

As of now the Louisville Fire Department and the Coast Guard are still searching for the missing people from the boat crash, and although they’re hopeful, they're also realistic. Unfortunately, there will come a time to terminate the investigation if they’re not found, especially due to the present water conditions. Dive teams have been unable to search adequately due to choppy waters, and could only check the surface of the Ohio River.

As of right now officials are trying to find out what happened to cause the boat to capsize, and if there was any commercial involving the accident. It was first reported that the boat collided with the Second Street Bridge, but that was found to be a false report. Four people survived the boat crash and were sent to Louisville hospitals. Sadly three others died, and one of the people still missing is a child.
