Four People Injured in Idaho Semi Crash

|

In Idaho, a semi truck and car crash happened Thursday afternoon on Interstate 15 near the Pocatello Creek Road when 42-year-old, Adam Schrand was hauling a camper while heading southbound blew a tire. As a result, Schrand ran through the median, and crossed into oncoming traffic in the northbound lane. Likewise, 37-year-old, Luke Viernow was driving a semi truck, and collided with Schrand’s camper. The collision blocked the Pocatello Creek Ramp and all northbound lanes.

All lanes were closed for approximately two hours following the semi truck crash. Luckily all drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the vehicle accidents, and were transported to nearby hospitals. Their current conditions are unknown. An investigation into the accident is pending.
