Arrest made in hit-and-run case involving Mizzou student

|

An arrest has been made in the untimely death of a Mizzou student who was struck and killed by a car. Furthermore, sophomore, Paul Miltenberger was hit and killed while he was back home in Texas visiting family for the Easter holiday. Likewise, the accident happened Sunday morning when Miltenberger was crossing the street, outside of the crosswalk, on his way to a friend's apartment. Tragically, Miltenberger never made it to his destination, and was hit and killed by a vehicle that never stopped after the accident.

A few days later, police informed the community that Jonathan Redmond turned himself in Monday night for the hit-and-run crime. In addition, Redmond admitted he caused the crash and hit Miltenberger thus fleeing the scene. Redmond is now facing the following charges: failure to stop and give aid, which is a second-degree felony. To learn more, click here.
