A suspected drunk driver drove the wrong way in St. Peters causing a four vehicle accident. The driver who caused the accident is being charged with driving while intoxicated, and authorities have withheld the woman's name. However, authorities have disclosed the woman, 43, is a resident of St. Peters. The suspected drunk driver hit a Dodge Nitro head-on causing the driver of that vehicle to be seriously injured. Also, two other vehicles were involved in the crash although the injuries sustained in those vehicles were minor. Authorities have stated this isn't a simple case of someone crossing the centerline. In this instance, the lanes were separated by road construction and barriers. The driver who went the wrong way is currently in the hospital as a result of the collision, and authorities are waiting for a toxicology report to be released before charging the woman.
