Cornelius Bell, 59, was hit by a train on Friday night and died of his injuries. The accident occurred near Venice. Mr. Bell was walking his girlfriend home late when the accident happened. According to Kelly Rogers, a Madison County Investigator, Mr. Bell's girlfriend was unharmed.
