Four children were hurt on Interstate 70 when a vehicle driven by a girl, 15, overturned injuring several of her passengers. The ages of the passengers were 5, 8, and 10. The youngest of the passengers was the most severely hurt. Although the driver of the vehicle had a learners permit to operate a vehicle, her permit requires there to be an adult with her. Authorities believe no one in the car was wearing a seatbelt. The family of the children involved in the accident has stated there was an adult in the car at the time of the accident. However, the family would not elaborate on the identity of that person.
