The Missouri Highway Patrol reported an accident Friday afternoon which killed one and left three injured. Judith Twente, 68, died when her Dodge truck overturned on Interstate 44. Ms. Twente was attempting ot merge onto the highway from a rest stop when her truck began sliding due to the wet pavement. She overcorrected the sliding which sent the truck careening off the ramp. Ms. Twente did not have her seatbelt fastened. Two children, ages 4 and 6 were injured while another adult was seriously injured.
