Conrad Murray, the doctor treating the pop star at the time of his death, was found guilty of manslaughter on Monday, November 7, 2011. Murray was convicted of manslaughter on the theory that he had given Jackson the fatal dose of the anesthetic propofol. Defense contended that Jackson gave himself the fatal dose, but the jury thought differently. Murray will await sentencing in custody without bail until November 29.
